15. Gwalior is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Gwalior Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Gwalior falls in Gwalior district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a urban seat.
There are a total of 2,77,904 voters in the seat, which includes 1,50,786 male voters, and 1,27,107 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Gwalior recorded a voter turnout of 62.57%. In 2013 the turnout was 61.18%, and in 2008 it was 57.17%.
In 2013, Jai Bhan Singh Pawaiya of BJP won the seat by a margin of 15,561 votes (9.94%). Jai Bhan Singh Pawaiya secured 47.76% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 2,090 votes (2.06%), registering 37.82% of the total votes polled.
