32. Fatehpur is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Jhunjhunu Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Fatehpur falls in Sikar district and North region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,28,661 voters in the seat, which includes 1,19,670 male voters, and 1,08,991 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Fatehpur recorded a voter turnout of 74.29%. In 2013 the turnout was 73.23%, and in 2008 it was 61.6%.
In 2013, Nand Kishore Maharia of IND won the seat by a margin of 3,926 votes (2.75%). Nand Kishore Maharia secured 37.79% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 8,264 votes (7.8%), registering 44.91% of the total votes polled.
