22. Dharmapuri is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Telangana and is part of Peddapalle Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Dharmapuri falls in Jagtial district and North Telangana region of Telangana. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,91,111 voters in the seat, which includes 94,863 male voters, and 96,243 female voters. In the 2018 Telangana elections, Dharmapuri recorded a voter turnout of 79.96%. In 2014 the turnout was 74.41%.
In 2014, Koppula Eshwar of TRS won the seat by a margin of 18,679 (12.72%). Koppula Eshwar secured 46.18% of the total votes polled.
