Bangalore: With elections nearing, BJP seems to be relying on the tried and tested Hindutva agenda once again.

Party President Rajnath Singh spoke after inaugurating the three-day National Executive Meet of the party in Bangalore. He blamed the Amarnath land controversy in J& K on the Congress-led coalition for what he called surrender to separatists agenda.

Singh also demanded abrogation of Article 370 providing special status to the Jammu and Kashmir.

He demanded that a special area be marked for the rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir Valley.

The BJP national executive meet began on Friday in Bangalore, the party aims to discuss on issues like price rise, terrorism and internal security.

That apart, the party will also try to evolve consensus on the nuclear deal, especially after the NSG waiver because not too many are ready to buy the BJP logic that national sovereignty has been compromised.

Advani's Vijay Sankalp Yatra itinerary would also be finalized. The political yatra is aimed at highlighting the failures of the UPA government.
