30. Chachoura is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Rajgarh Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Chachoura falls in Guna district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,03,378 voters in the seat, which includes 1,08,333 male voters, and 95,042 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Chachoura recorded a voter turnout of 80.46%. In 2013 the turnout was 74.18%, and in 2008 it was 68.57%.
In 2013, Mamta Meena of BJP won the seat by a margin of 34,901 votes (24.07%). Mamta Meena secured 57.1% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 8,022 votes (8%), registering 33.96% of the total votes polled.
