177. Asind is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Bhilwara Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Asind falls in Bhilwara district and South region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,72,715 voters in the seat, which includes 1,37,647 male voters, and 1,35,068 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Asind recorded a voter turnout of 72.44%. In 2013 the turnout was 75.97%, and in 2008 it was 67.1%.
In 2013, Ram Lal Gurjar of BJP won the seat by a margin of 27,309 votes (15.23%). Ram Lal Gurjar secured 41.14% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 4,112 votes (2.92%), registering 45.03% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Asind Assembly segment of the Bhilwara Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
