87. Anuppur is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Shahdol (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Anuppur falls in Anuppur district and Vindhya Pradesh region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,64,248 voters in the seat, which includes 84,848 male voters, and 79,397 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Anuppur recorded a voter turnout of 75.79%. In 2013 the turnout was 72.54%, and in 2008 it was 71.29%.
In 2013, Ramlal Rautel of BJP won the seat by a margin of 11,745 votes (10%). Ramlal Rautel secured 48.88% of the total votes polled.
