SSC GD Constable 2023 Recruitment: Interested and eligible candidates can register on the official website of the commission at ssc.nic.in by December 28

The Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for the SSC Constable (GD) Constable Recruitment 2023. The application process for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles Examination 2023 will commence on November 24. A total of 75768 posts will be filled through the recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates can register on the official website of the commission at ssc.nic.in by December 28.

According to the official notice by SSC, the last date to make application fee payment is December 29. While the exam will be conducted in February 2024 in a Computer Based Examination (CBE) in English and Hindi mediums. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer. The CBE will be followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination and Document Verification.

SSC GD Constable 2023 Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have cleared matriculation or class 10 examination or equivalent from a recognised board or university.

Age limit: The applicants must be between 18 to 23 years of age as of August 1, 2023. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

SSC GD Constable 2023 Recruitment: Application fees

The application fee for the SSC GD Constable recruitment 2023 exam is Rs. 100. Women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fee.

“Final results along with force allocation will be declared by the Commission based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination and preference of force opted by them subject to their qualifying the Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Medical Examination and other conditions stipulated in the Notice of Examination,” read the official notice by SSC.

Candidates who clear the selection process will be posted for the job roles of Constable (General Duty) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Sepoy in NIA (National Investigation Agency) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR).
