SSC GD Constable 2021 to Have Negative Marking, Know Changes in Exam Pattern
SSC CG Constable 2021: For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. The new marking policy will also affect the rank in the merit list.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC)  has decided to introduce negative marking for the recruitment exam for the post of GD Constable exam. The new rule will be implemented for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2021 which is scheduled to be held from November 16 to December 15.

According to reports, the recruitment board has now decided that negative marking will also be applicable in the GD constable exam from this year onwards. The candidates appearing for the constable exam this year have to be extra careful while answering the questions in the exam as 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. It will also affect the rank in the merit list.

The new rule might increase the competition for the recruitment exam. The SSC is carrying out the recruitment process for 25,271 posts of constable in BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF and rifleman in Assam rifles. The registration process for the same is still on and will close on August 31.

The teir-I exam will be a computer-based exam and will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks. All questions will be of objective and multiple-choice Type. The computer-based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Finally selected candidates will get pay at the level of grade 3 which is in the bracket of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.

Meanwhile, IBPS has decided to change the way it holds the clerk recruitment exams. From this year onwards, the exam will be held in 13 different languages including English and Hindi. The decision is announced to ensure students from rural backgrounds and from institutes having local languages as a medium of instruction are not at a disadvantage.

The central government is also working on setting up a National Recruitment Agency (NRA) which will hold common recruitment exams for several posts including the recruitment tests held by SSC, RRB, and IBPS. There will be a common entrance test (CET) for recruitment across all posts which will be held twice a year. There will be different CETs each based on educational qualifications. The CET will be conducted in 12 major Indian languages and English.
