The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will be declaring the results for the computer-based exam CBT-1 of the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) posts soon. The NTPC exam was conducted in seven phases ending on July 31.
Even as the RRB has not released any official date for NTPC CBT 1 result, after the ending of the objection raising window for the answer key, the final answer key and results can be expected soon.
According to the media reports, the board can release the results by the end of the month. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website — www.rrbcdg.gov.in — for exam-related updates. Around 2.25 lakh candidates will be declared successful in the CBT-1 exam.
Those who successfully pass CBT 1 will appear for CBT 2. The RRB NTPC exams were held after a long wait. Due to the large number of candidates applying for the recruitment exams, the Railways had postponed the test. Over 1 crore candidates had applied for 35,000 NTPC posts. Now, candidates are awaiting their results.

Step 2: Enter the registration number and other login credentials.
Step 3: Click on Check result
For General Category, the RRB NTPC cut-off is expected to be 68-72, for EWS the cut-off is likely to fall between 62-65, for SC candidates it is likely to be around 50-54, and for ST it is 48-52.
The candidates will be selected for RRB NTPC posts in four stages of recruitment- CBT-1, CBT-2, Skill Test and Documents Verification. The salary range of selected candidates will vary from Rs 25,500 to Rs 35,400 depending on their selection for the posts.
