After defeating Sri Lanka by 302 runs and stealing the semi-final spot of the ongoing ICC ODI Cricket World Cup, Team India brushed away the Sri Lankan competition in yesterday’s match. As Indians celebrated their victory, a video which is winning hearts on social media shows a beaming KL Rahul. It happened when KL Rahul took a marvelous DRS call to dismiss Dusmantha Chameera. On getting it right, Rahul gave a flashy big smile which had the fans in complete awe.
No one else looked interested in going for a review. However, Rahul remained adamant. His decision proved to be a masterstroke.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, India was put to bat first and it put up a massive total of 357 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs before crushing the Sri Lankan batting order for a paltry score of 55 runs in just 19.4 overs.
The Delhi Police also joined the celebrations and put out a witty post on X. In the post, Delhi Police described Rohit Sharm-led team’s win as a “killing performance”. The post also mentioned ‘302’, pointing towards the 302 section of the India Penal Code (IPC) under which the punishment for murder is life imprisonment or death.
