India Post has notified the recruitment of the posts of branch postmaster, assistant branch post master, and dak sevaks under Gramin Dak Sevaks for Chhattisgarh and Kerala Circle. A total of 2558 vacancies are available under this recruitment drive.

Interested candidates can apply at www.appost.in till April 7, 2020. Applicants of the General/OBC/EWS/Trans male category will have to pay Rs 100 for each set of five options, while SC/ST/female/trans-woman/PWD candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

The application form for India Post GDS recruitment 2020 is comprised of several stages.

Step 1: Visit the official website of India post at www.appost.in

Step 2: Next, go to the registration tab and click on the registration

Step 3: Key in the required details and submit

Step 4: A system generated registration number and password will be sent to the registered mobile number and mail id

Once the registration is done, the next stage is fee payment, which can be done online only. To make the fee payment, go to the payment tab and choose any of the options available and proceed further.

Once the fee is paid, candidates can complete the application form under Apply Online tab

Step 1:Log in using the registered user id, password and circle name

Step 2: Complete the India Post GDS 2020 application form and submit

Step 3: download a copy of the application form for future reference

India Post Gramin Dak Sevak recruitment 2021: Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification: The applicants must pass Secondary School Examination with passing marks in Mathematics, local language, and English from any recognized Board or University.

Age limit: The minimum age should be 18 years and the upper age limit is 40.

Knowledge of the local language at least up to class 10 is mandatory for all the applicants.
