Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Shailesh Lodha is all set to visit Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony which is set to take place on January 22, 2024. On Saturday, the actor was snapped by the paparazzi at the Mumbai airport when he greeted all with folded hands and revealed that he was going to board a flight to Lucknow from where he will reach Ayodhya on the 22nd of January.
“Jai Shree Ram,” Lodha said as he also expressed happiness and excitement to attend the much-awaited ceremony. “This is a happy moment. I am fortunate enough to receive the invitation. What else can be better than this? May lord Ram bless us all. Jai Shree Ram,” he told a paparazzo in Hindi. Watch the video here:

Shailesh Lodha used to play the role of Taarak Mehta in the popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He was a part of the show ever since the beginning. However, he quit in April 2022. Lodha is replaced by Sachin Shroff in the show.
In September 2023, Lodha claimed that he left TMKOC because of Asit Kumarr Modi’s behaviour. Shailesh argued he was invited for a stand-up show titled Good Night India on SAB TV in 2022 which left Asit Modi disappointed. He claimed that Asit Modi used inappropriate language with him and when he confronted the maker, Modi called everyone on the show his servants in a derogatory way.
“I could not tolerate the way he spoke to me. A show is made by many people coming together and not just one person. I thus mailed him on February 17, 2022, that I would not like to continue with the show,” Lodha told Lallantop.
Meanwhile, Shailesh Lodha is not the only actor who has been invited to the Ram Temple inauguration ceremony. Among others, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Hema Malini, Abhishek Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff have also been sent invitations.
