Sanya Malhotra Celebrates Seven Years Of Dangal With Throwback Album

One of the talented faces in the industry today, Sanya Malhotra presently seems to be on top of her game as she completes a successful seven years in the industry, and that too with a bang! Whether it is Babita Kumari in Dangal or a young bride in Meenakshi Sundareshwar, her performances in a few other films like Badhaai Ho and Ludo, she has aced it all. After having made a successful debut with Dangal back in 2016, Sanya has created a niche among fans, where her performances are being appreciated by both critics and audiences alike. As she has now completed 7 years in the industry, the actress got all nostalgic on social media.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Sanya while celebrating seven years of her debut film Dangal wrote, “Happy 7 years of living my dream. Happy Dangal day 7years of Dangal.”

She also shared special pictures and videos from her films. While the first video shows the popular song ‘Morni Banke’ from Badhaai Ho, the second one shows a BTS moment from the sets of Dangal. The picture features Sanya Malhotra along with her co-actors Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The following clips are from her other films including Pagglait, Meenakshi Sunderashwar, and her latest one Jawan.

Prior to this, the Sam Bahadur actress on completing five years in Bollywood expressed gratitude toward her audience. “It has been a dream journey for me – giving interviews, playing different characters. I feel blessed, and I am grateful to the audience for liking my movies. To be honest, I had never thought I would come so far. I had small dreams but what I am experiencing right now is something I never imagined. It’s all very beautiful,” she said.

Sanya’s Recent And Upcoming Projects

Sanya Malhotra was recently seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, a film based on the life of India’s First Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.

While actor Vicky Kaushal played the titular role, Sanya played the role of his wife, Siloo Manekshaw. The film also features Fatima Sana Shaikh as she portrays former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Prior to that, Sanya was seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.

Next, she will be seen in Arati Kadav’s Mrs. The actress will play the lead role in the film, which also features Nishant Dahiya and Kanwaljit Singh. It is the Hindi adaptation of the Malayalam drama, The Great Indian Kitchen.
