Samantha Ruth Prabhu is enjoying her break from acting. The actress has taken this break for some time. Well, she is currently in the US and has been sharing a lot of updates from there. Just like today, Samantha took to her social handle and shared a series of photos featuring gorgeous nature. However, she even revealed her go-to film for sad days. In no time, fans expressed their concern and love for the actress.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Samantha wrote, “Whenever I’d feel very happy or very sad as a child… I’d rewatch Sound Of Music. It was my escape. It would transport me to a magical world that would give me the detachment from reality I needed. To me it was a mystical place that was comfortingly not real. I’d keep going back to the film as I grew older. Some films get better with each revisit. But Sound Of Music remains the same and transports you back to childhood, instead. Coming here and visiting this location in person hit hard and tender all at the same time.” One of the fans wrote, “Memories are the timeless treasure of the heart.” Another wrote, “You are leading your peaceful life after so many days Stay blessed Sam lots of love.”

Meanwhile, Samantha was recently seen in Kushi opposite Vijay Deverakonda. She will soon be seen in the Indian version of Citadel which also stars Varun Dhawan. It is helmed by The Family Man directors Raj and DK. While not much about Citadel India is known as of now, Priyanka Chopra recently revealed that the storylines are connected to each other. “Raj and DK are so amazing, so talented and they’ll bring their own spin to the Indian installment. So, I’m very excited,” she said.
