Raveena Tandon Reveals Her Birthday Plans With Daughter Rasha

Raveena Tandon, the iconic 90s actress with a massive fan base, is joyfully commemorating her 49th birthday in the tranquil company of her family, far from the city’s commotion. In an interview with a prominent media outlet, she revealed her exciting birthday plans, which involve celebrating this special day amidst the serene beauty of the forest, accompanied by her daughter, Rasha. According to Raveena, it’s the perfect place for her and her daughter to be on this occasion.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Raveena revealed, “Well, honestly my birthday is always with family and close loved ones. There are no rituals as such but at 12 o’clock my children always plan a surprise but this time when my daughter asked me what I wanted to do, I said let’s run away to the jungle and that’s what we’ve done. So, we’re ringing in my birthday, this time in the midst of the forest. Honestly, we’ve always done it on her birthday but this time we’re doing it on mine and that’s the best place for Rasha and me to be, and we’re making the most of it.”

Rasha Thadani recently delighted her fans by offering a glimpse of her Durga Puja celebrations. In the video, she, along with her mother Raveen Tandon, performed the Durga Aarti, accompanied by Sara Ali Khan and Manish Malhotra. The mother-daughter duo looked resplendent in their traditional attire, with Raveena in a red suit featuring intricate gota patti work on her dupatta, and Rasha opting for a yellow suit while styling her hair in a ponytail.

In the caption, Rasha wrote, “Gathering with loved ones to celebrate Durga Puja, where devotion and togetherness thrive. May the blessings of the Divine Mother fill our lives with joy, love, and prosperity.”

On the professional front, Raveena Tandon has an exciting lineup of projects in her pipeline. She will be next seen alongside Akshaye Khanna in the TV series Legacy. She is also set to star in director Soujan Josseph’s upcoming action thriller film Alert 24X7, which features Sanjay Dutt, Kabir Bedi, Anupam Kher, and more in pivotal roles. Additionally, she will also star in director Binoy Gandhi’s family drama film Ghudchadi.

Meanwhile, Rasha Thadani is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming untitled film. The film also marks the debut of Aaman Devgan, the nephew of Ajay Devgn. According to reports, the film is expected to be an action-adventure movie and is said to be released on February 9, 2024.
