Ranbir Kapoor Film Animal Earns Rs 20 Cr In Advance Booking, Sells More Than 7 Lakh Tickets
Animal Advance Booking: Ranbir Kapoor film is expected to have a bumper opening on December 1 as it has already sold more than 7 lakh tickets at the box office.

Animal Advance Booking: Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, is all set to have a bumper opening at the box office on December 1. The film’s trailer has set the bar very high, with netizens showering immense praise on Ranbir for his intense performance. As per the latest numbers coming in, the film has so far sold 7,45,992 tickets for 12,539 shows.

According to a report in Sacnilk.com, Animal has already earned around Rs 20 crore in the advance booking. While 5,75,197 tickets have been sold for the Hindi shows, 1,63,361 tickets were purchased for the Telugu shows.

The terrific advance bookings of Animal have been majorly driven by Delhi (Rs 4.07 crore), Telangana (Rs 4.14 crore), Maharashtra (Rs 3.29 crore), Karnataka (Rs 2.23 crore), Gujarat (Rs 1.49 crore), Andhra Pradesh (Rs 2.18 crore) and Uttar Pradesh (Rs 1.34 crore).

Animal is co-written, edited, and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Kabir Singh fame. Animal also features Tripti Dimri. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given Animal an ‘A’ certificate. The film’s run time is 3 hours and 35 minutes.

Animal is clashing with director Meghna Gulzar and actor Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur, a biographical war drama film based on the life of field marshal, Sam Manekshaw. While Sam Bahadur is releasing in Hindi, Animal will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

In October, during the trailer launch of Sam Bahadur, Vicky Kaushal addressed the questions about his film’s clash with Animal and said that as a member of the film industry he aspires to create an environment in which multiple films can work together and said, “I’m as excited for ‘Animal’ as anyone else. It should be a great day for the audience; we work for that, not for each other.”
