Prabhas Starrer Spirit To Go On Floors In June 2024, Bhushan Kumar Confirms; Deets Inside

With Kabir Singh becoming a box office hit and Animal creating a lot of buzz around itself before its release, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is reportedly set to helm his next Hindi film, Spirit. According to the latest reports, the film will be headlined by Prabhas and will go on floors by June 2024. The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar. He recently confirmed the news in a new interview.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Bhushan said, “Right now, I want the audience to concentrate on Animal. After that, we will start, we’ll take a gap of five to six months and then start Spirit. After that, it will be Allu Arjun’s film.” The Allu Arjun starrer will mark another collaboration between Bhushan and Sandeep.

Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying, “The idea is to take the film on floors by June 2024. It’s a big-scale action film, produced by Bhushan Kumar, that features Prabhas as a cop. However, unlike most of the cop thrillers, Spirit will have a unique flavour that Sandeep is known for. The basic writing work is already done and the full-fledged work on the film will begin only after the release of Animal.”

“While the Allu Arjun film is already announced, it’s still some time for it to go on floors. The basic idea for Allu Arjun and Sandeep Reddy Vanga film is locked but it’s still some time before going into the development stage. It will happen only after Spirit,” the source added.

Talking about working with Sandeep on multiple projects now, Bhushan told Pinkvilla, “We are like a family now. He loves working with me, I love working with him. I give him full creative freedom. His brother and he are also partners in all the films we do together. I feel the director who creates the project should not only get the fees but also the benefit of the film doing well at the box office or any platform. That way, we have a very comfortable relationship.”

Meanwhile, their latest collaboration Animal will feature Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor among others. The film is scheduled to release this year on December 1.
