Kaley Cuoco Wanted To 'Throw' Fellow Passenger Who Questioned Her Parenting On Flight

The Flight Attendant star Kaley Cuoco revealed a frustrating encounter with a fellow passenger who had an issue with Matilda's sound machine.

Kaley Cuoco, renowned for her role in The Flight Attendant, encountered an unexpected challenge during a Thanksgiving flight with her 9-month-old daughter, Matilda. Discussing the incident on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Cuoco shared a frustrating encounter with a fellow passenger who took issue with Matilda’s sound machine. Despite Cuoco and her boyfriend, Tom Pelphrey, taking precautions for a smooth journey, the situation escalated when the passenger expressed discomfort with the baby’s device. While Kimmel sympathised with the flight attendant delivering the message, Cuoco humorously described her and her boyfriend’s frustration, even jokingly suggesting extreme measures like strangulation or throwing the passenger from the plane.

She recalled, “It was our first flight ever with this baby and we were very terrified. We have to bring her sound machine on the plane, it’s the only thing she can go to sleep to. We put it right next to her ear, only thing that will get her to go to sleep. So she’s crying, we’re having one of those flights that you hear what other people think and you’re like, ‘ohh that sucks for them.’ So she’s crying, we put the sound machine on, it was hard she finally falls asleep and she’s on Tom and the sound machine is on and we’re finally relived."

“The steward comes over and he’s like, ‘Hey one of our passengers would love it if you would turn the sound machine off.’ I can feel Tom be like, ‘hey ask the passenger if she wants to hold our screaming child.’ I couldn’t believe by the way she asked us to turn it off. We were so angry. It was in that moment I could have strangulated. I thought I could have thrown that woman off the plane," Kaley Cuoco added.

Meanwhile, Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey, who worked together in Ozark, joyfully announced their pregnancy in 2022. Their first child, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, entered the world in March next year. Cuoco has been open about becoming a mother, however, in May she revealed that the idea of having children wasn’t initially a priority until she met her husband, Pelphrey. Before meeting Tom, Cuoco was in a relationship with Karl Cook, with whom she separated in June 2022. The actress and Cook, after three years of marriage, concluded their legal separation.
