Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare's Wedding: Aamir Khan Dances To Aati Kya Khandala

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan got married to her longtime partner and fitness expert Nupur Shikhare on January 10. After registering their marriage on January 3 in Mumbai, the couple officially walked down the aisle in a white wedding ceremony in Udaipur. Pictures and videos from the star-studded celebration have now flooded the internet. Congratulatory messages are also pouring in for the newlyweds. Amidst this, a video of Aamir Khan dancing his heart out at her daughter’s wedding has been widely circulating across social media platforms. The actor was seen shaking a leg to the song Aati Kya Khandala from his 1988 film Ghulam.

The video shared on Instagram captures Aamir Khan, decked up in ethnic wear showcasing his dance moves. Lip-syncing to the lyrics of Aati Kya Khandela, the actor swayed from side to side, matching the beats of the peppy track, sung by Aamir himself and singing sensation Alka Yagnik. Multi-coloured lights filled the dance floor as the 58-year-old grooved to the musical rhythm in the presence of other guests. Aamir’s nephew and Jane Tu Ya Jaane Na actor Imran Khan was also spotted at the venue dancing energetically to the popular song. The video concludes with a glimpse of the DJ, setting the mood of the guests.

Earlier, Aamir Khan was seen dancing to the song Tharki Chokro from his 2014 film PK. Surrounded by Rajasthani folk artists, the actor let go of any shyness and displayed his dancing prowess on the streets. The video dropped on Instagram by a paparazzo account showed him performing the iconic hook step of the Swaroop Khan-sung peppy number. When the folk artists pulled Aamir’s former wife Kiran Rao to join the session, she obliged their request but stepped away in just a few seconds.

On January 11, Ira Khan dropped some glimpses of her wedding on her Instagram stories. Some captured her walking with Nupur Shikhare hand-in-hand while the guests celebrated the union by pouring flower petals on the bride and groom. In others, she shared some glimpses with her friends and close ones.

Coming back to Aamir Khan, the actor will next be seen in the film Sitare Zameen Par. He will also be producing the film Laapata Ladies, helmed by Kiran Rao.
