Akshara Singh is one of the most prominent actresses and singers in the Bhojpuri entertainment industry. She has been active for many years and has a huge fan base amongst Bhojpuri-speaking audiences. The Vivaah 2 actress recently attended News 18’s special program UTSAV 18 and talked about how she had to face a relentless struggle in one of the phases of her acting career. Akshara recalled the time when the people used to insult her and she also stopped getting work as an actress. Due to scarcity of projects, Akshara Singh said that there was a time when she only had Rs 100 in her bank account. Akshara recalled contemplating how she would get work assignments in the future. The 33-year-old actress said that she paid more attention to singing and attained immense recognition in this field.
Akshara added that now she is singing songs in different languages like Haryanvi and Punjabi. According to her, the good aspect is that she has attained fame in these sectors as well with her singing prowess. A few days ago, she recalled that when she went to a CCL (Celebrity Cricket League) event, people recognised her as a Bhojpuri actress.
Akshara Singh thanked the audience for her fanbase across the country. Calling the actor and politician Ravi Kishan her mentor, Akshara said that she often talks to him. According to Akshara Singh, Ravi Kishan always guides her. She said that it is a big thing that Ravi Kishan ji’s film (Laapataa Ladies) is India’s official entry for the 2025 Oscars. Akshara wished him all the best. She also recited Mata’s hymns and songs for the Navratri occasion and entertained people immensely by singing other Bhojpuri songs.
Akshara Singh will next act in the film Sabka Baap Angutha Chaap, directed by Parag Patil. This film stars an ensemble star cast of actors Dinesh Lal Yadav, Sanjay Pandey and Shruti Rao. This project has been in production for a very long time and it is not known whether it will be released at the cinema halls or not.
