Esha Deol was out and about on Wednesday when she got spotted at Mumbai airport, capturing onlookers’ attention. Fans got a glimpse of the actress as the shutterbugs stationed outside the airport captured her in a video, later sharing it on social media In the clip, she is seen walking out of the airport and getting into her car following a quick photo and video session.
Sporting an uber-cool avatar, Esha Deol made a case for casual fashion in an oversized sweatshirt featuring quirky graphic prints teamed with blue bootcut jeans, stylish sneakers and brown-tinted sunglasses, elevating her already stunning visage. Before exiting the spot, she waved at the paparazzi and smiled at them.
But did you know Esha Deol’s father and legendary actor Dharmendra did not want her to work in the entertainment industry? In a recent interview with Hautterfly, the actress revealed that her father wanted her to get married at 18. She said, “He didn’t want me to enter films. He was rightfully orthodox because he was a Punjabi, so he wanted me to get married and settle down at 18 because that was his conditioning, he’s coming from there. The women in his family are brought up that way. But my upbringing was very different in my house, seeing my mom act in films and her dance gave me direction. It was ingrained inside me that I wanted to do something.”
The year 2024 also saw Esha Deol separating from her husband Bharat Takhtani. The duo tied the knot in 2012 and later, welcomed two daughters, Radhya and Miraya. Their announcement statement shared earlier this year read, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this transition in our lives, the well-being and welfare of our two children remain our utmost priority. We kindly request that our privacy be respected during this time.”
Now, Esha Deol is gearing up for a few more projects, the details of which have been kept under wraps. Speaking at a tree plantation drive in May this year, the actress commented on her professional endeavours as she reportedly remarked, “I am busy shooting for upcoming films. Announcements will be made very soon for them. I can only say I am very happy to be working.”
