Saaho was the first Indian movie to use IMAX technology in every scene.

If you have to build a list of Prabhas’ most underrated films, Saaho would surely be at the top. The movie, which was released five years ago, didn’t do that well in Telugu, but it was a blockbuster in Hindi. Let’s know more about this film here. Every shot of the action-thriller movie Saaho was filmed utilising cutting-edge IMAX cameras, illustrating the makers’ commitment to producing a visually beautiful experience. Due to the significant expense made in the project, this was the first Indian movie to use IMAX technology in every scene. Despite its great production, the film eventually failed to live up to the high expectations of its star-studded cast, which included Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunky Pandey, Murali Sharma, and Mandira Bedi.

According to reports, Saaho had an astounding 350 crore as budget, much of which was earmarked for specific scenes. A remarkable eight-minute action scene, for example, brought in a budget of 70 crore, the biggest ever for a single scene. Although 100 stunt performers from all over the world were brought in for the film’s final clash, the movie did not quite capture the attention of viewers as planned. With Baahubali’s enormous success, there were very high hopes for Prabhas’s Saaho. It did fairly well in the Bollywood industry, but audiences in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil found it difficult to connect with it. According to reports, the film’s total worldwide earnings were Rs 451 crore.

Saaho, which was directed by Sujeeth, has a low IMDb rating of 5 out of 10, which is indicative of a disinterest in the plot. The movie is now streaming on Netflix in Hindi.
