Thangalaan Star Chiyaan Vikram Wins Hearts By Serving Food At Film's Success Party
The film has not only been a hit at the box office but has also earned accolades from both fans and critics. To celebrate this milestone, the film's cast and crew gathered for a grand feast.

Actor Chiyaan Vikram is enjoying the success of his recent film, Thangalaan, which premiered on August 15. The film, which also has Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan alongside Vikram, has not only been a hit at the box office but has also earned accolades from both fans and critics. To celebrate this milestone, the film’s cast and crew gathered for a grand event, where Vikram took on the role of host and offered a lavish feast to the attendees. A heartwarming moment from the celebration captured Vikram personally serving food to his team, highlighting his humility and gratitude.

“Such a humble way to celebrate success! Thangalaan crosses the 100 crore milestone and Chiyaan Vikram serves food to the team at the success celebration,” read the caption of a video from the team’s celebration, going viral.

Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan were also present at the success party. Parvathy took to Instagram to share several pictures from the event, showing moments with Malavika and Vikram. She captioned her post, saying, “Yesterday was magical! Thank you Chiyaan Vikram for hosting the most sumptuous feast for us Thangalaaners!! It was so good to see everyone again.”

Thangalaan, directed by Ranjith, is set against the historical backdrop of the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), with Vikram portraying a character in a style that is a departure from most of his previous roles. In a special interview with News18 earlier, Vikram reflected on the transformative journey he underwent for this role. “I think this is the most immersive experience I’ve had. Films like Sethu, Pithamagan, I, and Aparichit were intense too, but with this one, I felt I delved even deeper into myself. I found my truest, rawest form. We all have that in us, and as an actor, trying to discover that part of me was very enchanting in so many ways because I didn’t know I could do it. I’m from a boarding school background, where it’s all about eating with chopsticks,” he explained.

Thangalaan, produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banners of Studio Green and Neelam Productions, had an impressive opening, grossing Rs 13.3 crore at the box office. It is scheduled for release in Maharashtra and other North Indian states on September 6.
