Telugu film Eme Subbamma Idiye Eme Katha, produced by Manda Mallikarjuna Reddy under the banner of MMR Art Creations, officially began production on August 25 with a puja ceremony at Hyderabad’s Ramanaidu Studio. The event was attended by key members of the team, including director Kiran Ank, producer Manda Mallikarjuna Reddy, lead actor Shyam Shelvan, and actresses Hanvika, Ritika, Greeshma, Esther. The launch event also saw the presence of DOP Gajula Siva, music director Charan Arjun, Bhaskar Reddy, Executive Producer Mohan Krishna, and Lyricist Ramu Kumbhagiri. During the ceremony, GL Phanikanth switched on the camera, while producer Manda Mallikarjuna Reddy gave the inaugural clap, marking the official start of the film’s production.
Director Kiran took a moment to express his heartfelt gratitude towards the producer, acknowledging his pivotal role in bringing his vision to life. As a newcomer in the industry, Kiran felt it was important to highlight the support and confidence that Reddy has shown in his story. The director emphasised that the film goes beyond just a romantic narrative, carrying with it a profound and meaningful message that resonates on multiple levels. He believes that the film will capture the interest of both young and families alike, offering something for everyone.
Mallikarjun Reddy mentioned that he was thrilled upon hearing the story and believes the film will provoke thought. He also shared that regular shooting will commence in the areas around Hyderabad.
Subbamma Idiye Eme Katha may be devoid of starpower, but Kiran Ank believes that the engaging content will be enough to bring audiences to the theatre.
