Sharmin Segal Gives a Hilarious Twist To 'Ek Baar Dekh Lijiye' Dialogue As She Drops Gorgeous Photos
Sharmin Segal was brutally trolled after the release of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.

Sharmin Segal has been making headlines ever since ever since the release of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. First, she was trolled for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial and then she was also accused of being arrogant and disrespectful towards her co-stars. However, in one of her recent posts, Sharmin took an indirect dig at negativity on social media as she trolled herself.

On Thursday, Sharmin Segal took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures from her Italy vacations. However, in the caption of her post, she gave a hilarious twist to her Heeramandi dialogue. “Ek baar break lijiye. Ice cream kha lijiye. Swimming karne ko hai tayyar hum. Neela neela pani dikha dijiye (sic),” she wrote. Check it out here:

However, it is worth noting that Segal switched off the comments section of her post, most likely to avoid getting trolled again.

Released on May 1, 2024, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar explores the various aspects of a woman’s trials and tribulations. Besides Sharmin, it also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Farida Jalal, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman in key roles.

Previously, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Sharmin opened up about her trolling and told us, “The audience is the king at the end of the day. And as a creative person, it’s very important to acknowledge that. They have a right to their opinion – positive or negative. That’s one thing that gives me perspective and allows me to be okay.”

Sharmin further shared that the positive responses were as many as the negative ones and yet the internet chose to focus more on the latter. “I had given my all to Alamzeb’s character. We tend to fixate on the negatives but there are so many positives that have also come along, which we don’t talk about. It’s perhaps not interesting enough to talk about positives and we tend to look over them to some degree,” she added.

Meanwhile, there are rumours that Sharmin has also been roped in for Bhansali’s Love and War. However, there is no official confirmation to this as of now.
