Shark Tank India Pitcher Calls Anupam Mittal 'Misinformed', Makes SHOCKING Comment: 'If You Don't Know...'
Entrepreneur Pathik Patel makes a strong statement saying just because Anupam Mittal is senior, does not mean he can disrespect anyone.

An entrepreneur named Pathik Patel, who pitched his brand ‘Fit & Flex’ in Shark Tank India season 3, has now lashed out at Anupam Mittal. In a recent interview, Patel called the shark ‘misinformed’ and made a strong statement saying just because Mittal is senior, does not mean he can disrespect anyone.

The businessman appeared on Raj Shamani’s podcast recently when he recalled his Shark Tank India pitch. He stated that Anupam Mittal raised a question about a certain ingredient in one of his products and accused him of ‘misrepresenting’ customers by labelling his brand as ‘healthy’.

“I respected them. I respected their position. They are my elders. But that doesn’t give them the freedom to say whatever they want. It was very unreasonable. It was very unfair. I’d built this business over five years, and for somebody to dismiss it without the proper knowledge, it hurts. I was demotivated," he said.

He then stepped up his attacks on Mittal and added, “I was prepared for the worst when I saw them talking to each other. And then the first question came my way: ‘Why have you written that you haven’t used any artificial sweetener when it is mentioned that you’ve used oligofructose in the ingredients?’"

Patel called Anupam ‘misinformed’ and ‘wrong’ and claimed that the ingredient he questioned does not classify as an artificial sweetener. “Unfortunately, Anupam didn’t know what oligofructose is, and he was wrong about the sugar spike. Oligofructose has a GI index of 0, while sugar has a GI index of 68," he said.

“He wasn’t ready to listen. I tried to explain the difference to him twice, but he didn’t budge. He kept calling it sugar, but unfortunately, this is completely wrong… If you don’t know what you’re talking about, you should’ve accepted what I said. And if you know what you’re saying, then you should’ve argued," Patel concluded.

Anupam Mittal took to his Instagram handle and dropped a big hint about season 4. His video was a compilation of his fun moments from Shark Tank India. The clip also featured his fellow ‘sharks’ including Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta. In the caption of his post, Mittal shared that applications for Shark Tank India season 4 are likely to begin soon.
