Samantha Ruth Prabhu received a wedding proposal just days after Naga Chaitanya got engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala. A fan of the actress proposed to her on Instagram with a hilarious video. A fan, who goes by the Instagram handle ‘Mukesh Chintha’ shared a video in which he pretends to track down Samantha’s home in Hyderabad and goes down on one knee in her ‘gym’ to propose to her.
The video began with Mukesh joking, “Me on my way to Samantha to tell her that she doesn’t need to worry because I’m always going to be there for her.” After he ‘reaches’ her ‘house,’ he tracked her down in her ‘gym’ and begs her to marry her. “I am open to marry if you are,” he said before asking her two years time to become ‘financial independent’. He then went down on one knee and proposed to her. Sharing the video, Mukesh wrote, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take .”
Samantha took to the comments section and wrote, “The gym in the background almost convinced me ♥️”. Sharing her reaction to his Instagram Stories, Mukesh wrote, “If the world is against Samantha, then I am against the world.” Watch the video below:
Samantha’s fans are cheering her on as her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya moves on. The Telugu actor announced his plans to remarry last week. The actor got engaged to Sobhita in Nagarjuna’s house in Hyderabad. The Telugu superstar shared pictures from the engagement to confirm the rumours. He later revealed that Chaitanya was ‘depressed’ after he and Samantha decided to part ways.
“Chay has found happiness again. He is very happy. So am I! It has not been an easy time for Chay or the family. The separation from Samantha left him very depressed. My boy doesn’t show his feelings to anyone. But I knew he was unhappy. To see him smile again…Sobhita and Chay make a wonderful couple. They love each other dearly,” Nagarjuna told Times Now.
