Ridhi Dogra Praises Richa Chadha's Performance In Heeramandi: ‘You're Magic In The Show’

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is impressing audiences with its grandeur and gripping narratives. With an ensemble cast that includes some of Bollywood’s finest talents, the series has been making waves since its release on May 1. The opulent sets, intricate storytelling, and stellar performances have left viewers spellbound. Recently, Ridhi Dogra showered praise on the performances of Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and Taha Shah.

Penning the review on her Instagram handle, along with a poster featuring Richa Chadha from the series, Ridhi wrote, “The power you hold, the nuances, the dancing ufff, you’re magic in the show. Loved every bit of your performance. Keep shining.”

Moving on, Ridhi extended her congratulations to Sanjeeda Shaikh for her stunning portrayal of Waheeda in the series. She shared, “I was so happy to see your performance and to see you ace it! We don’t know each other personally but I know the journey from TV to Sanjay Leela Bhansali couldn’t have been easy. I’ve not finished the show yet. But I just had to tell you- For your journey, for your growth, for your craft- I’m proud of you girl. Celebrate yourself and may you shine brighter and brighter! Love love love.”

Heeramandi infuses Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s signature style into the tales of love and betrayal among courtesans in pre-independence India. Alongside Richa, Sanjeeda and Taha, the series features a stellar cast including Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Shekhar Suman, Adhyayan Suman, and Farida Jalal, among others.

Ridhi Dogra is a familiar face in both television and film. She has graced numerous TV shows like Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak, Savitri, and Woh Apna Sa. Recently, she played pivotal roles in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.
