Renukaswamy Murder Case: Darshan And Pavithra Gowda Bail Verdict To Be Announced Today
Senior advocate CV Nagesh who appeared for Darshan argued for Pavitra Gowda in the court. SPP Prasanna Kumar said that bail should not be granted to the main four accused.

The 57th City Civil and Sessions Court (CCH) is set to announce its verdict on the bail plea of actor Darshan, Pavithra Gowda and other prime accused concerning the Renukaswamy Murder Case. R Keshavamurthy, V Karthik and L Nikhil Nayak have already been granted bail by the Karnataka High Court and CCH court respectively. Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) P Prasanna Kumar has strongly objected to the bail of the prime accused Darshan and Pavithra Gowda. Darshan, his partner Pavithra Gowda, and 15 others were arrested on June 11 for allegedly kidnapping and brutally killing Renukaswamy, who had sent inappropriate messages to Pavithra.

Senior advocate CV Nagesh, who appeared for Darshan argued for Pavitra Gowda in the court. SPP Prasanna Kumar said that bail should not be granted to the main four accused. The judge has reserved the final order for Monday, today, after hearing a long argument in the 57th CCH Court of Bengaluru regarding Darshan’s warrant petition.

Darshan is currently lodged in Bellary Jail from Parappa’s Agrahara after his photos of smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee went viral. The lawyer of Darshan is likely to approach the High Court. It is said that Darshan’s lawyer CV Nagesh has already prepared to file a bail application in the High Court.

The hearing of the bail application of A1 accused Pavitra Gowda and other accused Ravi, Nagaraj, Lakshman and Deepak in the Renukaswamy murder case has also been completed. His bail order will also be announced today.

Darshan’s lawyer, C.V. Nagesh, argues that the police charges against him are fabricated. He claims the investigation has serious flaws and compared the case details to a story from “Arabian Nights.” Nagesh pointed out that there was a significant delay in conducting the postmortem of Renukaswamy and in gathering statements from eyewitnesses.

On the other hand, the SPP, Prasanna Kumar, is strongly opposing Darshan’s bail plea. He argues that Darshan should not be released and highlights that Darshan allegedly admitted to kicking Renukaswamy in the chest during questioning.

The fans and families of Darshan and Pavithra Gowda are hopeful of the bail in the verdict.
