Rajinikanth cast his vote as part of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 voting in Tamil Nadu. The Tamil superstar was seen dressed in an all-white outfit as he stepped out to vote. The actor was spotted at a polling booth in Stella Maris College in Chennai early in the morning on Friday, April 19, to cast his vote. In videos and photos surfaced online, the actor was seen walking into the polling booth and was instantly mobbed.

In a video shared on X, Rajinikanth was seen waiting for his turn to cast his vote. Once he finished the process, he showed off his inked finger. On his way out, Rajinikanth spoke to the media. In his statement to the press, he urged everyone to cast their vote. He said that there is no pride is saying that you have not voted. He added that it is a duty of a citizen to vote and urged everyone to cast their vote.

Rajinikanth was spotted a while after Ajith Kumar was seen casting his vote. In videos gone viral, Ajith was seen at the polling booth in Thiruvanmiyur to cast his vote. It is reported that the actor reached the polling booth at 6:40 am and waited until the polling booth opened at 7 am. Dressed in white, Ajith was seen casting his vote and even posed for the cameras, showing off his inked finger.

Tamil Nadu went into polling in the first of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections on Friday. The result of the high-stakes battle between the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) will be declared on June 4.
