KE Gnanavel Raja, famous for successfully distributing blockbusters like Baahubali: The Beginning in Tamil, Suriya-starrer 24, and Varun Dhawan-starrer Bhediya in Tamil, is now gearing up for the release of Suriya-starrer Kanguva.
As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, Gnanavel Raja, who is in touch with Ajay Devgn, is keen to collaborate with the Bollywood star for his first Hindi movie. Also, he has recently set up an office in Mumbai for this purpose. The report also mentioned that Ajay Devgn, too, is impressed with the filmography of Studio Green and the vision of Raja and is open to working with them, provided things fall into place.
According to the report, Devgn has been presented with multiple ideas to choose from, including a mass entertainer, an action-packed film and a thriller. He is currently reviewing all the scripts and is expected to make a final decision soon. Additionally, a source close to the portal revealed that one of these films will be directed by Obeli N Krishna, known for directing popular and acclaimed films like Sillunu Oru Kaadhal (2006), Nedunchaalai (2014), Hippi (2019), and Pathu Thala (2023).
Ajay Devgn is preparing for his upcoming horror flick Shaitaan alongside Jyotika and Madhavan. The horror movie is a remake of the Gujarati film Vash. Scheduled for release on March 8, the film is generating anticipation among audiences.
On the other hand, Gnanavel Raja’s passion for film production dates back to his childhood. He once confessed to regularly skipping classes during his school days at St Bede’s Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School in Chennai to attend film screenings at nearby cinemas like Devi or Sathyam. Although he is distantly related to actor Sivakumar’s family, the media often refers to him as the cousin of Sivakumar’s sons, Suriya and Karthi.
