First pictures from Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' Sangeet ceremony are out and they're breathtaking, to say the least.
On Sunday, the actress took to Instagram to share pictures from the function. Wearing a sequin embellished saree, the actress performed with her mother Madhu Chopra. It seems she tried to replicate her hit 'Desi Girl' song during the function. Nick Jonas also shook a leg and trust us, his moves have a very Bollywood touch to them.
Apart from the couple, Nick's brother Joe Jonas can be seen singing at the occasion while his fiancee Sophie Turner and Parineeti Chopra prepared solo dances for the couple.
Giving out details about the Sangeet ceremony, Priyanka wrote, "It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love." She also elaborated the families, narrated the stories through their dance performances.
On Saturday, the couple got married in a Western wedding ceremony at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace.
The couple wore custom Ralph Lauren outfits for the occasion. Apart from the couple, all bridesmaids and groomsmen also donned the celebrated American designer's ensembles. Their ceremony was officiated by Nick's father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr, and the couple exchanged wedding bands by renowned jeweller Chopard. Joining the couple were Jonas’ brother Keven and Joe Jonas, Game of Thrones actor Sophie Turner, Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Chopra.
Following the Christian ceremony, the two will exchange vows in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony to honour Priyanka's background on Sunday.
The nuptials come just three months after the pair was engaged in August in a traditional Indian 'roka' ceremony. The pre-wedding festivities for the couple, who has been on a celebration spree ever since they kicked-off their respective bachelorettes, began on Friday with a Sangeet ceremony.
Their friends and family turned out for the function held at the Umaid Bhawan palace. Designer Sabyasachi, Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma and her son Ahil, were among the first guests to reach Jodhpur for the wedding.
