Lady Gaga never shies away from praising her fellow stars. When it comes to encouraging and supporting other artists, the pop singer is all hearts for them. Most recently, she admitted to crying while watching pop sensations like Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish perform during their shows, concerts and other events. Despite not having been able to attend their live performances, she recalled watching their videos on the Internet.
Gaga added that she feels proud of all of them. “I’m not only cheering them on; I want them to know that my heart is in it with them. And I want them all to feel happy,” she explained during while speaking with Vogue for their October cover story.
Even while discussing the impact that the current pop sensations left on her, Lady Gaga had become reportedly emotional. She continued saying that she hoped for them to be happy and feel supported in all their endeavours, personal or professional.
Taylor Swift, too, is fond of Lady Gaga and was seen extending her support to the pop sensation in 2023. The actress was rumoured to be expecting a baby last year, drawing all the attention towards her body. Swift reportedly joined the bandwagon to call out those commenting on the same.
Sharing her views under one of Lady Gaga’s videos, she expressed, “Can we all agree that it’s invasive & irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body? Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, and neither does any woman.”
Apart from Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga has also been a huge admirer of Kesha. Earlier in 2014, when Kesha was embroiled in her lawsuit against music producer Dr Luke, Gaga reportedly gave testimony in support of her.
On her workfront, Lady Gaga is busy with her seventh studio album which will be released in February. She shared that the inspiration for the upcoming album comes from her fiancé, Michael Polansky who encouraged her to return to her pop roots.
Her upcoming film, Joker: Folie à Deux, with Joaquin Phoenix, will be released on October 4. In the highly-awaited movie, she plays Harley Quinn, the love interest of Joker, portrayed by Arthur Fleck.
