The submission for the Grammy Awards has already started. In a recent development, music director Sushin Shyam has reportedly submitted the music from the films Aavesham and Manjummel Boys. The music director shared about it on social media, creating a buzz among the fans. Several members of the Indian film industry also reportedly extended their best wishes to the singer. In the post shared on Instagram on October 5, Saturday, Sushin mentioned that he had submitted his work from the film Aavesham for the category of Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media, and his work from Manjummel Boys for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media category. He also thanked Aditya Veera for recommending his music for the upcoming 67th Grammy Award.
Posting a picture on his handle, he captioned it, “I am incredibly honoured to share that my work from Aavesham & Manjummel boys has been submitted for Grammy Consideration. A special thanks to Aditya Veera for thoughtfully considering and recommending the music for entry into the 67th Grammy Awards process. His thorough understanding of the process made the journey a smooth sail.”
“This has been the most exhilarating yet fulfilling process for me to have worked on these projects & to see how far they’ve gotten me!” the caption further added. The post was liked by more than 42 thousand users.
Music podcaster and Grammy award nominee Aditya Veera also replied to his post. He wrote in the comments, “Glad that I was able to contribute in some capacity to the Grammy process. Wishing you and the entire crew the very best for a successful nomination.” Thousands of his fans commented on the post extending their best wishes to the famous artist. One user commented, “I hope you make it brother. You have and are doing a tremendous job with your sound and music,” while another user wrote, “Proud of you brother.”
Presently Sushin is busy with his upcoming work Bougainvillea, directed by Amal Neerad. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on October 17.
