Bigg Boss winner Munwar Faruqui is basking in glory after his huge victory. While the stand-up artist continues to celebrate his victory, many people felt that Munawar was undeserving. Talking exclusively to News18, Munawar said, “Bigg Boss house was like a war and I actually fought it and emerged victorious. I am not convinced when people say that I was not deserving. But my fans and the audience always stood by me and I came to know that a lot of people have started following me on social media. It is all organic and not paid so I must have done something correct. I believe I am deserving to be the winner of this show.”
One of the highlights of the show, which is hosted by Salman Khan was Faruqui’s personal life which was discussed. The show saw Ayesha Khan entering the house as a wild card revealing the origins of her connection with Munawar, stirring up complications. Talking about it, he said, “We don’t have control on a lot of things but I believe it wasn’t correct to discuss my personal life on a public platform. Many inmates in the house tried hard to tarnish my image. It does bother me but I’ll get over it and I will make my actions speak for itself. I have finished one war and I am ready for this new war (laughs).”
Munawar also revealed that he was under a lot of pressure throughout the show. He said, “I have gone through a lot and had mental breakdowns on most of the days. There wasn’t a single day when I didn’t hid myself under the blanket and cried or went to the bathroom just to let my emotions out. There were times when I even felt helpless. But I knew I couldn’t disappoint the people who believed in me. I think this victory is personal but at the same time it is for all those people.”
