Woman gang-raped near Nayandahalli Junction

BANGALORE: A 38-year-old woman was raped and robbed by three unknown miscreants  near Nayandahalli Junction on Mysore Road on Sunday night. The victim, an employee of a garment factory, was alone in the city, while her husband and children are in their native village.According to police, the victim had gone to visit her husband and children in K M Doddi near Mandya and returned to city on Sunday night. As she alighted the bus at Nayandahalli Junction to walk to her house on Garden Road near Nayandahalli, two miscreants waylaid her and snatched gold chain worth Rs 65,000 and a cash of Rs 4,500 cash from her. Later, they asked a friend to come there, and the trio dragged her into bushes where they allegedly raped her, the police said.
