Richa Chadha is super excited about the next phase in their life. The actress is all set to welcome her first child with husband, actor Ali Faizal. In the middle of all the excitement, Richa is wondering how her life would change after embracing parenthood. The actress, in her latest Instagarm post, has asked “is her impromptu solo travel days over?”. The Heeramandi star has shared a series of images of her spontaneous solo trip from London to Amsterdam last year in July. In her elaborated note, the actress recalled the time when she decided to head to Amsterdam via Eurostar for some gallery visits and soul-searching.
The pictures featured Richa Chadha looking stunning in a short black dress layered with a cheque-patterned blazer. Wondering what will follow after she becomes responsible for “another human being, Richa wrote, “Hmmm…are my days of impromptu solo travel over? These photos are from July 2023, when I had wrapped a stressful and strange shoot in London, and decided to take a solo trip to Amsterdam the following morning.”
She added, “Harry who was eager to party on his last night in London, clicking away at Pimlico station…I was just keen on getting to Amsterdam via Eurostar for a bit of gallerying and soul-searching. He went to a party, I crashed at my friend’s apartment, ordered a salad and slept. Reminiscing tonight…what will happen now, I will be responsible for a whole other human being. Can’t just get up and leave now anymore, right? Mommies weigh in?”
Replying to the post, mom-to-be Masaba Gupta said, “Same thoughts some days, Richa! But looking at it this way – that a new life will bring a change of responsibility ,new needs & new areas of focus perhaps. And newness is very uncomfortable sometimes in the beginning but such a blessing in the long run. Also at a spiritual level, this would not have come your way if you weren’t ready for life to be tossed into the unknown..some larger plan at play maybe? This last bit is helping me whenever I have anxious thoughts about being a new mommy! Lots of love – hope we are all eased into it as beautifully as possible.”
Actress Gul Panag said, “Yes, Sister. Definitely. You will have trips with the baby. It might be challenging to begin with. But it will get better and better with each trip. But don’t stop taking trips.” Actress Sobhita Dhulipala wrote, “Such beautiful images.” Richa Chaddha’s Heeramandi co-star Sanjeeda Shaikh said, “Prettyyy.”
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal announced their pregnancy in February. In a joint post, the couple said, “A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world.” The two got married in 2020 and celebrated their union with a grand ceremony in October 2022.
In an interview with News18, Richa Chadha opened up on managing her pregnancy calling it “pretty chill”. She said, “I’m not nervous at all. I’m still working every day. I want to continue to be chill. I think we make a big deal out of it, especially today. Women are told what to do and what to watch when they’re pregnant. I’m enjoying watching true crime at this point”.
On the work front, Richa Chadha won many hearts with her impactful role in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.
The series also stars Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, Adhyayan Suman, and Taha Shah in pivotal roles.
