Indian chef Madhampatty TP Rangaraj, who is famous for being the judge in Cooku With Comali , is back to entertain the audience with his third film Miss Maggie. Latha R Maniyarasu has written and directed this film. Rangaraj also shared a teaser of this film on his YouTube channel. The teaser shows Yogi Babu playing the role of an unsuccessful lawyer named Thandamaan. He suffers from the issue of hiccups whenever he lies, and due to this ends up losing many cases. He is subjected to mockery and humiliation from his colleagues and clients as well. Viewers also see a couple (Rangaraj and Aathmika) facing problems in their personal life. The highlight of this teaser is Yogi Babu, donning a nurse getup, and beating the hooligans. The teaser has garnered more than 4,00,000 views and counting.
Social media users loved the teaser and compared Yogi Babu’s character to Julia Wicket’s character. Julia Wicket is the main villain of the animated series Mr Beans, especially in the early seasons. Others were happy to see actor Rangaraj back on screen. One of the users commented, “Mehndi circus fans assemble."
Mehandi Circus is Rangaraj’s debut film and he enacted Jeeva’s role in this hit project.
Miss Maggie’s technical crew consists of Karthik Raja (background score), Gowtham Rajendran (director of photography), and Sathish Surya (editor). Madhan Karky, Super Subbu, Karthik Netha and Vivek have penned the lyrics. Vedikkaranpatti S Sakthivel and Madhampatty TP Rangaraj have produced Miss Maggie under the banner Drumsticks Productions.
The shooting for Miss Maggie has been wrapped up by the team, and the film is in the post-production stages. Yogi Babu shared a video of the team, celebrating the wrap-up, on X. In the clip, Yogi Babu can be seen in Miss Maggie’s avatar. He is seen cutting the cake with his team, while they applauded with joy and shared the cake with each other.

According to reports, this film is expected to be released in the cinema halls later this year or in early 2025.
