Megan Thee Stallion is set to team up with BTS once more and it’s no joke. After hinting at a potential collaboration with the K-pop stars, the American rapper sparked excitement and speculation among fans. On Thursday, she posted a cryptic series of emojis—a horse, a purple heart, and an X sign—leaving fans buzzing with anticipation. The purple heart, a symbol closely linked to BTS, fueled the excitement and speculation.

Amid all the speculations, the collaboration has been finally confirmed. BTS’s official X handle retweeted Megan’s post, adding, “Coming soon.” They also included a koala emoji, making ARMYs assume that the collaboration would likely be with RM as Koya is his BT21 character. At the same time, the hedgehog could make a fun reference to his current hairstyle.

Cheering upon the exciting collaboration, fans also speculated if their song will feature in the upcoming film Sonic the Hedgehog 3 or if the emojis have something to do with the song.

Back in 2021, Megan collaborated with BTS for their hit song Butter. They even performed together at the band’s concert in Los Angeles in the same year. “I love BTS, and I was telling my manager, ‘I really want to do a song with BTS, I don’t know what I can do or what we’re going to do.’ Around that the same time, they wound up reaching out to me and asking me to do the ‘Butter’ remix. So, I was like, ‘Oh my God,” Megan told Entertainment Tonight in February 2022.

Their agreement mentions two more songs, including one for the group and another for the singer. It is now yet to be seen how the team unfolds. On the work front, the WAP artist recently released her third studio album titled Megan, which went on to debut at the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 2022. On the other hand, BTS’s band activities continue to remain paused due to their ongoing military service.
