Just like the Salim-Javed duo delivered one super hit after another in Bollywood, the Surendra and Vivek duo took Bhojpuri cinema forward by making excellent films.
Surendra Mishra and Vivek Mishra have made many Bhojpuri hits together including Sindoordaan, Bezubaan, Yashoda ka Nandlala, Saas Athanni Bahu Rupaiya, Ghar Ki Malikin, Abduction, Saubhagyawati and recently released films like Riddhi Siddhi and Uttaran.
Coming to the Saas Athanni Bahu Rupaiya, Surendra and Vivek duo have written the story of this film in a very interesting way. The film is based on the sometimes sweet and sometimes sharp banter between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.
In the story of the film, the mother is looking for a daughter-in-law for her son. In the process, she meets Richa Dixit not in love but in a fight. There is a fight between the two over a matter. The mother is unaware that Richa is the same girl her son loves. Later in the story, the two somehow get married. Then the fight between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law starts in the house which the audience will enjoy a lot.
Surendra and Vivek have portrayed the characters in their story in this film in such a way that it goes straight to the heart. This story will surely make you emotional. The story of the film is about Kajal Raghwani and Gaurav Jha who are happy in their married life but long for a child. Since they don’t have a child, the problems of the two start growing. From the villagers to the family members, everyone taunts them for not having a child and tells them lies.
Surendra and Vivek have directed the climax of the film in a very exciting way that makes the audience glued to their seats. Surendra and Vivek have a better understanding of many things including the story, production method, screenwriting, dialogue and songwriting. This is the reason why people like them so much.
