Marathi Actors Shivani Surve And Ajinkya Nanaware Are Engaged

Renowned Marathi actors Shivani Surve and Ajinkya Nanaware have embarked on a new phase in their lives. They got engaged on January 31 and shared endearing clicks from the ceremony as well. Ajinkya looked handsome in a sherwani and pajama which he paired with a meticulously embroidered half-jacket.

Shivani looked gorgeous in a mauve-coloured saree and accessorised her look with green bangles. She complimented her look further with earrings and rings. Shivani’s mehendi-smeared hands added to her beauty quotient. While sharing the picture of exchanging the rings, Shivani wrote in the caption, “Aww~Fishily Engaged.”

The colleagues of both actors from the entertainment industry congratulated them on this joyous occasion. Actors Gauri Nalawade, Nidhi Shah, Swwapnil Joshi, Manasi Naik, and others also wished them on this occasion.

Shivani and Ajinkya’s love story blossomed on the sets of the Marathi series Tu Jivala Guntvave. They both had to face tough times in their relationship as well. Shivani talked about those struggles in an interview with Hindustan Times. She said,” I’ve never said this to anyone. We started dating in 2015, then we broke up in 2016. Then for a year, we didn’t speak. After a year we got back and since then we have been dating. We’ve stopped counting how many years it has been.”

Shivani also said that she and Ajinkya have contrasting personalities. The Unlock Zindagi actress said that she has zero patience while Ajinkya is calm and full of patience. “He is a bookworm and I’m someone who is an avid audience of the audiovisual medium”, she said. Shivani said that Ajinkya has always been sensible and that’s what she likes about him.

Shivani last played the role of Manali in Jhimma 2 directed by Hemant Dhome. Jhimma 2 earned accolades at the box office due to its storyline, acting performances and other aspects. Meanwhile, Ajinkya last acted in the daily soap Satvya Mulichi Satavi Mulgi. He played the role of Advait in this series starring Titeeksha Tawde, Aishwarya Narkar, and others.
