Marathi Actor Gaurav More Credits Dr B R Ambedkar For His Success
Gaurav More is well known for his roles in the popular TV show Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra.

Gaurav More is an accomplished Marathi actor. The actor is well known for his appearances in the famous TV drama Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra. Meanwhile, Gaurav More in a recent media interaction shared that he owes his popularity to Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. However, his statement is currently garnering everyone’s attention.

Gaurav More’s childhood was a struggle. He once struggled to get work, money, and fame. But after a long time, he has achieved his place. He has a huge fan following today. But Gaurav More owes his popularity to Dr Ambedkar.

In a recent interview, Gaurav said, ‘The breath I am taking and the reason I am standing here today is only because of Babasaheb. My breath is a gift given by Babasaheb.’

He also added, ‘I have everything that belongs to Babasaheb only. I am here because of him. He has given everything to us, but we are not doing much for him. What I am doing is a small effort for him.’ By saying this, Gaurav More has expressed his gratitude towards Babasaheb.

A few days ago, Gaurav went to London, where he visited the monument of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar to pay respects to Babasaheb.

Gaurav earlier shared the challenges he faced during his struggling period. In a media interaction, the actor acknowledged that he faced financial hardships during his struggling days. Gaurav More said, “We used to live in Ulhasnagar in a tarpaulin house near the station. Then we moved to Vitthalwadi. But my mother says that I was suffering there, which is why we left that place too and shifted to Kalyan. In the meantime, my father was transferred to Bhandup. Later, we shifted to Filterpadi, where we used to live in a palm tree house. But, during the monsoons, it was very bad, as one person in our house used to prevent water from entering the house, whereas others used to prevent it from getting damaged.”

Speaking further about the challenges that he faced during his childhood, he added that he used to feel inferior because of his colour and height. But after going to school, in class VIII, he started to overcome this. One day, he went to watch TV at his neighbors’ house but they didn’t allow him in. Later his mother scolded him for going there. During that time buying a TV was a big deal for them and due to his unawareness of the situation he used to cry for TV for 4-5 days.
