Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR And Several Actors Donate For Flood Relief Efforts In Telugu States

Following the heavy damage caused by the relentless rain and flash floods in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, financial support poured in from many sources to the state government. The floods in the regions have displaced thousands and destroyed numerous homes.

In this situation, several actors and celebrities came forward and announced financial assistance for flood relief. Actor Ananya Nagalla announced that she is donating Rs 2.5 lakhs each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. She further expressed her hope for both states to recover quickly from the disaster. In a recent tweet, she wrote, “People in both Telugu states are facing tough times because of the rains. I hope our states recover soon. As my contribution, I am donating Rs 2.5 lakhs each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.”

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan has announced the donation of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. “As my contribution to flood victims, I am donating Rs 1 crore,” he said. Jr NTR also announced Rs 50 lakh each for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Famous actor Mahesh Babu announced a Rs 50 lakh donation each for the Telugu states. “In light of the floods impacting both the Telugu states, I am pledging a donation of 50 lakhs each to the CM Relief Fund for both AP and Telangana. Let’s collectively support the measures being undertaken by the respective governments to provide immediate aid and facilitate the recovery process for the flood-affected regions. I urge everyone to contribute to this cause. May we rise above this crisis and emerge stronger,” he wrote on X.

Actor N. Balakrishna also announced Rs 50 lakh each to the Chief Ministers’ Relief Fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. “Currently, Telugu soil is flooded. In these dire circumstances, with a heavy heart, I am donating Rs.50 lakhs to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and Rs.50 lakhs to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the relief of the affected people. I am praying to God that normal conditions will be restored in both the states very soon,” he wrote on Facebook.

Megastar Chiranjeevi pledged Rs 50 lakh each for both the states for flood relief. Taking to X, he wrote that he was pained over the loss of lives and the hardships caused to people due to floods in the Telugu states. “We all need to be involved in relief efforts in some way. As part of this, I am announcing my contribution of one crore rupees (50 lakhs each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CM Relief Fund) to help in providing relief to the people in both the states,” he said.

Alongside several others including Vyjayanthi Movies, Siddu Jonnalagadda and Venky Atluri, among others also donated to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
