Taylor Swift is on the trending charts again and this time it's not because of her music!
After being slammed by her former boyfriend Calvin Harris for revealing their 'secret' collaboration in 'This is what I came for', Taylor is in deep waters again. Kim Kardashian-West has posted the video of Swift appearing to approve Kanye West’s Famous lyrics targeting her.
Last month, Kardashian West was reported saying that she had the footage of Swift approving the lyrics in her possession and on Sunday night she posted the recorded cellphone conversation.
Kanye raps the line in the video, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex." After few cuts and missing, Taylor could be heard saying, “I know, it's like a compliment, kind of," Swift replies. “Yeah, I mean, what's dope about the line is it's very tongue in cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that's really nice."
“I just had a responsibility to you as a friend," Kanye admits, further adding, "Relationships are more important than punchlines, you know"
The entire 'Famous' fiasco came into being when after West played the album for the first time at a listening party in Madison Square Garden in February, a spokesperson for Swift condemned the lyrics.
A statement was later released by Swift's representative saying, “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his Famous on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, “I made that bitch famous."
She also slammed the lyrics while accepting the Album of the Year Grammy award this year.
After Kim released the recorded conversation, all eyes were on Swift to react and she did in her own style. Within hours of footage release, Taylor tweeted, "That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet.", with a long statement explaining her stand.Reiterating that West never told her about the "that bitch" line, a clearly angry Swift said that she wanted to like the song and wanted to be supportive but couldn't approve a song she had never heard. She described the release of the Snapchat video as a "character assassination."

This feud does not seem to end in near future, but with Swift you never know what the next move could be. Right now the twitter is on fire, taking sides with West and Swift equally.
