Kevin Feige Spotted Wearing Hat With Deadpool 3 Logo; Fans Go Wild
At Saturn Awards, Feige was seen in a new hat with the faces of Deadpool and Wolverine—complete with yellow and cobalt cowl—in half.

Marvel Studios has given fans a sneak peek into the upcoming film Deadpool 3 through a unique promotional strategy. The only film scheduled for release by Marvel Studios in the ongoing year, Deadpool 3 is set to hit the big screens this summer, and the marketing wheels are already in motion. Recently, Kevin Feige, the head honcho at Marvel Studios, made an appearance at the prestigious Saturn Awards. This annual event, hosted by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror, proved to be a platform for the studio to add a new element to the film’s promotional campaign.

During the Sunday night gala, Kevin Feige flaunted a unique accessory – a hat adorned with imagery teasing Deadpool 3. Unlike the conventional approach of revealing the original logo with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the initial teaser, Feige’s hat takes takes the limelight this time.

When looked closely at it, it features a split image, showcasing the faces of Deadpool and Wolverine, each adorned with their characteristic yellow and cobalt cowl. This unconventional element has sparked curiosity among fans about the much-anticipated sequel.

Take a look at it here:

Despite the reveal of this hat, the official title for the third installment in the Deadpool series remains undisclosed as of now, as reported by Comicbook. Fans of the franchise are still wondering whether the film will retain a Deadpool-centric name or venture into broader X-Men territory.

The inclusion of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine character in a significant role further fuels speculation about the film’s scope. Director Shawn Levy has reportedly hinted at a narrative involving a bloody road trip featuring the beloved mutants.

In a statement last year, Levy expressed enthusiasm about the project’s progress, saying, “We’re happily back at work, and now that we know it’s coming out next summer, we are working our asses off to make the best movie possible, and it’s feeling good. It does feel like we’re back at it freshly and more deeply informed about what this movie wants to be,” reports Comicbook.

However, he also shared that the filmmaking process faced a setback due to industry-wide strikes. Levy disclosed, “Well, like the rest of our industry, or at least large swaths of it, we are paused. We were halfway through filming Deadpool, co-starring Wolverine.”

“But we are halfway through filming, we shut down, our crew and the rest of us are awaiting a fair and equitable deal that ends these strikes and puts our industry and certainly inclusive of our movie back at work,” he added.

Shawn Levy, the director of the film, is working on a script penned by Wendy Molyneaux, Lizzie Molyneaux-Loeglin, Rhett Reese, and Paul Wernick. As it stands, Deadpool 3 is scheduled for theatrical release on July 26th, marking a significant date for fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
