In one such development, a well-known director of the Kannada TV industry has reportedly committed suicide. The tragic incident has created a massive stir in the industry. The fans of the Kannada entertainment industry were left dumbstruck after the shocking news was reported.
According to reports, Kannada Television director Vinod Dondale committed suicide by hanging himself. On Saturday morning, the director allegedly ended his life at his residence in Nagarbhavi. The 49-year-old director’s extreme step has sparked a massive controversy in the entertainment industry.
The reports further stated that before giving his life, Vinod Dondale wrote a suicide note. The police have mentioned in their statement that he left a suicide note which initially speaks about the reason for taking such a step. The letter read, “I am responsible for my death, and I am taking this extreme step due to financial difficulties,” according to a statement by police.
Vinod Dondale was reportedly directing a film named Ashoka Blade. Several media reports suggested that 90 per cent of the shooting of the film was already completed. The concluding part of the film was scheduled to be filmed next week. It is also reported that Vinod recently discussed the film’s production with actor Sathish Ninasam and the movie’s producers. The police officials have reportedly registered a case and the investigation has already started. The police stated that the exact reason for his death can be determined after a detailed probe.
Vinod Dondale’s mentor in the entertainment industry renowned Kannada Director P Sheshadri expressed his deep sorrow for the tragic death of Vinod. Several other celebrities also extended their condolences to the family of the director. He is survived by his wife and three children.
