In Pics: Pooja Sawant And Siddhesh Chavan Celebrate First Gudi Padwa Together

Marathi actress Pooja Sawant and Siddhesh Chavan got married on February 28 and are enjoying marital bliss as of now. The duo added a new phase to their lives on April 9 as they enjoyed the Gudi Padwa fest on April 9.

Pooja uploaded the pictures from the celebration on Instagram. The Junglee actress exuded elegance as she donned a yellow saree and accessorised her looks with green bangles, mangal sutra, rings, earrings, and a nosepin. On the other hand, Siddhesh looked handsome in a light green kurta. She also attached a photo of the delicacies eaten during the Gudi Padwa time and a traditional flag as well. The Marathi actress added the song Ranga Maliyela to the photos sung by Ketaki Mategaonkar and Sharayu Date.

Pooja’s followers lavished the comment section with compliments for the couple. Many wrote that the Junglee actress look gorgeous in the yellow saree.

Some time back, their honeymoon photos had also been trending on social media. The pictures include Pooja and Siddhesh enjoying together on the beach. Pooja is sporting a floral print bikini with a white shirt draped over it, while Siddhesh is dressed in a white vest and black shorts. One picture captures the actress playing in the water, while others showcase romantic moments shared by the couple on the beach.

Pooja Sawant was propelled to fame for her role in the 2015 blockbuster hit Dagadi Chaawl, a Marathi-language action thriller directed by debutant director Chandrakant Kanse. The film boasted an ensemble cast including Ankush Chaudhari, Makrand Deshpande, and Pooja Sawant in pivotal roles. Dagadi Chaawl was a commercial success at the box office and made history as the first Marathi film to premiere on STAR Gold UK.

Pooja last made a cameo appearance in the Hindi sports action film Crakk: Jeetega… Toh Jiyegaa. Directed by Aditya Datt and produced by Vidyut Jammwal under the Action Hero Films banner, the movie features Vidyut, Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi and Amy Jackson in prominent roles. She entertained the audience with her flawless dance moves in the song Rom Rom which became a hit.
