Hold Your Breath, Shriya Saran Might Take It Away With Her Enchanting Classical Dance

Shriya Saran was a total smoke show when she graced a red carpet event at a recent event. In an all-black ensemble, the Drishyam star set the hearts racing. While fans were still trying to get over her recent look, another video of the actress surfaced on the Internet. This time, she broke the Internet in a contrasting avatar and it is sure to melt your hearts.

The video shared by Varinder Chawla on his Instagram handle showcased Shriya performing classical dance at an event. The Showtime actor’s graceful moves combined with ethereal looks delighted onlookers. For her special performance, Shriya embodied regal elegance in an ivory lehenga skirt set. With minimal accessories and hair neatly tied in a bun, Shriya radiated allure in her traditional look. Additionally, Shriya’s earnest performance won several hearts as fans seemed impressed by her classical moves.

For the unversed, Shriya Saran is a trained classical dancer. She was first trained in Kathak and Rajasthani folk dance by her mother. Later, she polished her skills with

professional training. Last year, the actress delivered a smashing Kathak performance in Moscow for the first time. Crediting her husband for making it possible, she wrote on Instagram, “My first kathak performance in Moscow. Choreographed by @nutanpatwardhan, Thank you @andreikoscheev for making it happen.”

Previously, Shriya also dropped a beautiful video of herself performing Kathak on her Instagram handle. It offered a glimpse of her favourite choreographed piece she learned from her Kathak Guru, Nutan Patwardhan. The video was shot by her husband, Andrei Koscheev. Shriya accompanied the video with a short caption. It read, “Just like that. Rehearsal. Kathak with @andreikoscheev. I love this one @nutanpatwardhan tai. It’s beautiful. I will do a live with tai soon about Kathak. And learn this one again (sic).”

Shriya last appeared in the Disney Plus Hotstar series titled Showtime. Directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar, the web series boasts a star-studded cast including Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Mouni Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Shriya Saran. Next up for the actress is Drishyam 3 and Naragasooran.
