Smriti Irani has time and again proved why she is a champ on Instagram. From acing the meme game to making fun of herself, Irani is definitely one of the coolest politicians active on social media. Apart from giving regular glimpses into her wicked sense of humour, Irani has also offered some useful advices to younger generation on the platform.
But recently, the actor-turned politician recalled the best advice she had got 23 years ago from the then-rising star Saif Ali Khan. Irani, who bumped into the Sacred Games star at Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding on Thursday, took to Instagram to post a selfie of them and shared an anecdote.
"23 years ago, a rising star gave a rookie from Delhi advice on how to survive in the chaos of the Maximum City; a few tips here and there as to how her dreams can take a flight. Little did he know the rookie will turn into a jumbo jet. Thank you for the memories, Saif Ali Khan," Smriti Irani captioned the post.
Smriti Irani, who is currently Union Cabinet Minister of Textiles, is best known for her role of Tulsi in Ekta Kapoor's popular TV show Kyunkii...Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu. She also appeared on shows like Hum Hain Kal Aaj Aur Kal, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan and Virrudh. She is married to businessman Zubin Irani.
